A Call to Prayer: Week Three.

Updated: Feb 23, 2021

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”    Ephesians 6:10

Time of Devotion.

As believers we have the power of the God of the universe available to us! Hydration, nutrition and rest are great tools for our players to utilize as they prepare for practices and games, but as believers we need to remember that we have something extra special!

Call to Prayer.

This week let’s pray our players will remember that their strength to prevail on the field and in the classroom comes from a God who loves them and who is for them!

Lord Jesus, you are all powerful; your strength knows no end.Thank you for loving us and making that power available to us. When our players begin to operate in the limitations of their own strength, will you remind them that you are able! Strengthen them physically and sharpen them mentally so they are able to thrive on the field, in the classroom and in their relationships with You and one another. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Week Three's "Call to Prayer" was written by Tracy Watson, wife to Stephen and mom of three, including #35 Tyler Watson for the Trojans.
